Dear Mom,
Happy birthday!
So much time has passed since I was little. Thank you for teaching me to walk on my own and for trusting me to do so. And look now, I have grown and travelled, I have learned traditional dances of Japan, the Caribbean and now even of Chile, I have learned to speak different tongues and work in areas I did not know existed. Just as you I have let myself be taught, just as you I have been a teacher. I have always looked towards you for example and inspiration, whereas I am merely an extension of you and of Father. Truly, I would not even Be without you, just as you would not Be without Grandfather and Grandmother. Let us then keep enjoying that gift of Life, with all the Human Feelings that come with it. And let me celebrate with you the anniversary of your birth wishing you good health, success and happiness in all your undertakings. Do continue blessing my journey being a part of it despite the distance. Even though I know we are always together, one day, still in this lifetime, I hope we can meet again.
